Happy
birthday kitty. You’re celebrating your big day during big
times. Everywhere you look life is doing its own thing and
things seem more intense than usual. There’s a traffic pile up
in the heavens – four planets have come to an intersection at
the same time and something needs to be done. Luckily this
so-called traffic jam doesn’t really have that much to do with
you. And, you’re a fixed sign so you might wait things out and
let things come to their own resolution. Though other people in
your life might force some changes upon you this energy is
pretty benign. Let’s take it piece by piece.
Abundant Jupiter is in the fellow fire sign of Aries in your
solar house of learning which is great for you. It indicates
travel or publishing - some kind of overseas adventure is not
out of the question. Powerful Pluto is in your solar house of
health and work. Hmmm… that means you need to take better care
of yourself. Watch your diet and make sure you exercise. Pluto
will make sure you take care of your health, or else. It could
also be time to look at the way you organize your days, where
and with whom you work, and what kind of work you do. Then
there’s crazy Uranus who leaves fire friendly Aries (for watery
Pisces) and won’t be back until spring next year. This speaks of
some in-depth work you might have to do to free yourself from
another person (or free yourself from your own fears and
phobias) before you can move forward. And then last but not
least, stern Saturn forms a nice relationship from airy Libra
with your fiery Leo nature; in your solar house of thinking and
relating. Put this all together and what we have is a recipe for
slow but gradual change in the way you operate. Seems like
you’re going to improve your life; step up your game; get more
in the groove; take care of business, and otherwise become the
Queen or King you really are.
As the slow moving energy of the “traffic jam” gradually
infiltrates your life a theme for the month emerges. It has to
do with value. Communicator Mercury retrogrades through your
solar house of money and values the entire two month period and
is a heads up to pay attention to the details of your not only
your finances, but what you consider important and valuable to
you. The lunations of August and September repeat the same
theme.
The New Moon in your sign on August 9th offers you your annual
opportunity to redo your self-image. How do you see yourself?
How would you like others to see you? This New Moon has a blend
of elements that encourages you to reappraise your self-worth,
the worth of others, the quality of your communications and your
level of commitment - especially via the spoken word. Is your
word your bond?
The Pisces Full Moon on August 24th highlights your new
awareness of what is valuable to you. You might feel the pain of
another person at this time, or find solace in someone’s arms.
Maintaining good boundaries yet also being capable of deep
intimacy is possible. You’ll see how this progresses by the
Virgo New Moon September 8th. At this time your solar
value/money house lights up with possibility. Can you take this
new idea, this new sense of what’s important and a growing sense
of intimacy and closeness with another (or your deepening
self-knowledge) to the next step? Remember this New Moon is in
Virgo so it has to be something that fits you. It might even be
an act of service for someone based on your full and loving
heart’s guidance.
Finally, the Aries New Moon on September 23rd is balm to your
soul. Everything is on the table and you can see what’s what.
There’s definitely a sense of give and take, and a rebalancing
occurring. It’s a very good thing you figured out what was
important to you, as this Full Moon will help you work through
the cosmic traffic jam with others. If it’s adventure you’re

Overall, this two month period of time helps you see your path,
