May 15, 2005, fiery Mars meets with the Awakener Uranus and moves into a sacred position; one he held at the Harmonic Concordance November 8, 2003. At that time Mars was the closest he had been to the earth in over 60 000 years.

Mars moves into that same position every two years as he moves around the solar system, but this particular spot - 10 degrees of Pisces, is the one he lingered in and held sacred during the cosmic geometry created in the sky at the Harmonic Concordance – an astronomical signature of stars.

But there’s more to the story. This Sunday, when Mars moves into this now sacred spot, he will meet with a planet already transiting there. This planet is Uranus, the Awakener. This slow moving rebellious planet takes 84 years to circle the Sun. He and Mars meet regularly every two years and cause some chaos when they do. Human accidents are common when these celestial bodies get together.

Both of these planets are highly energetic and together have the capacity to jump-start a heart. Together they can fuel a rocket, blow a global network system, fry your computer, and create major water, fuel, and oil issues. The search for oil and alternate technologies takes a wild surge now. Hydroelectric cars, alternative fuels, any and all liquids that can be harnessed to make things go, are the focus of this conjunction. This is because Mars and Uranus meet in Pisces; a water sign ruled by Neptune, the God of the Sea who rules all liquids.

Mars is the archetype of the Warrior. He is the handsome prince with the arrogant walk and the sharp sword ready at his side. Mars makes things happen. He goes after them on a fast horse.

Uranus is older, wiser but no less erratic. Uranus cannot tolerate injustice. He also demands that the old make way for the new. He rules cyber space, the Internet and the global mind. His actions are unexpected and sometimes shocking. His job after all, is to awaken us.

Put these two together at a sacred spot, a hot spot, and the sky’s the limit. The Sabian symbol for their meeting place of 11 degrees of Pisces is: "Men seeking illumination." The keyword is dedication. Illumination occurs mentally, physically, emotionally, psychically and above all, spiritually. This is a big spiritual "ah ha" moment.

Spirit remembers everything and nothing is lost. To quote Marc Edmund Jones "the divine spirit is fundamentally a matrix of itself." It’s very likely that this cosmic meeting place restores DNA through the action of water.

What wonderful news that is for all of us! But do be careful. These two together are hot stuff. The best thing to do is realize you’re activating your original spirit and to act accordingly.

If time is truly shifting us to a new dimension, a new way of being, then this union is a process of that activation. If not, then be alert to sudden things and big changes. Remember, nothing is permanent now. All is moving.
